In late summer 2023, Dog Days Custom Laser & Engraving was brought to life in a small, finished area within our home's basement in Saco, Maine. Through dedication, creativity, and the commitment of providing the highest quality laser engravings for our customers, we are now fortunate enough to be able to spread our creative wings and enjoy what we do, on a daily basis.

The story behind the name…

Drawing inspiration from our part-time availability as well as our overwhelming love for dogs, the name Dog Days seemed like more than an appropriate fit for our business name. Much like our canine companions, our company values reflect the principles of loyalty, commitment, and joy, that our 4-legged friends also bring to us on a daily basis.

When it came to our design, we couldn’t picture a more ideal candidate to be the mascot for our business, than our beloved dog, Hank. With Hank’s blessing, we traced the unique outline of his distinct, big-ol’ AmStaff noggin (floppy ear and all) and turned it into our distinct logo that represents out small business today.
